Two days after Christmas, we fled this town and ended up in Bandon, Oregon. We visited Bandon for the first (and, until now, only) time nearly seven years ago. Time flies! It was grand to go back and stay in a gorgeous home, enjoy the refreshing coastal breeze, dig my feet in some sand (yeah!), catch up on 24 (season siete!), stuff myself with mom's divine cooking, read Sarah Palin's Going Rogue (she's pretty cool, actually) and, most of all, just to spend time with my family. I'm sad to be going home tomorrow, but it has been a world-class stay and I'll be seeing them shortly for Brandon's baptism mid-January. Three cheers for life!
