This post is past due, but visiting PIXAR Animation Studios in Emeryville, California was just about my top highlight of 2009. Mady has dreamed of working for PIXAR on the artistic team for as long as I can remember (I know she'll get there!) so, needless to say, checking out the extremely secure studio (we're talking Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory status) was unreal.
